Marsh Madness

​Learn about wetlands and their unique traits, then get up close and personal with our marshes with a plunge into the muddy salt pools! 

Time: 9am to 12pm
Tuition: $30 per person
​Meeting Place: Chincoteague Bay Field Station, 34001 Mill Dam Road, Wallops Island, VA

What participants need to wear/bring to the workshop:​
  • Bathing suit worn under clothing
  • Clothes with long pants that can get very muddy
  • Secure shoes that can get very muddy
  • Change of clothes and shoes
  • Towel
  • Bag for wet clothes 
  • Water bottle, sunscreen​
  • No DEET-based bug spray permitted

Participants under the age of 18 will not be allowed to participate without an adult. All minor participants must be accompanied by an adult at all times. ​
