INTERTIDAL EXPLORERS

Getting Here

​You may know the critters who live on land. You may even know some that live under water. But what about the space in between? Come discover the intertidal zone and all of the cool creatures adapted to this constantly changing habitat! Take a dip in a tidal creek and use a seine net to take a look at some of these incredible intertidal organisms and learn all about their habitat and adaptations. This program is geared towards ages 7+ but all are welcome!

Time: 8:30 am to 11:30 am
Tuition: $25 per person


What participants need to wear/bring to the workshop:​
  • Bathing suit worn under clothing
  • Comfortable, secure shoes and clothing that can get wet
  • Change of clothes and shoes
  • Towel
  • Bag for wet clothes 
  • Water bottle​
