Affiliate Faculty Status 

Requirements:
· Submit a current Curriculum Vitae yearly (at time of first application and by January 30th yearly thereafter)
· List an affiliation on relevant published work and presentations (and all other relevant materials) as Chincoteague Bay Field Station
· Supply short (150-400 word) 3rd person biography and photo for Affiliate Faculty page on website and use in other CBFS marketing materials
· Submit an annotated bibliography of recent publications and presentations for Affiliate Faculty page on website and use in other CBFS marketing materials
And:
 
· During the previous two calendar years conducted approved research using CBFS resources and be employed as faculty member at an accredited institution of higher learning 
OR
 
· During the previous or current calendar year be scheduled to teach an AAC approved course offered at CBFS 
OR
 
· Be an Official CBFS Academic Advisory Council (AAC) University Representative
 
Benefits:
 

· Title of “CBFS Affiliate Faculty”
 
· Increased visibility of work conducted at CBFS through individual Faculty Webpage
 
· Formal affiliation with CBFS
 
· Professionalizes Academics and Research at CBFS
 
· Gives recognition to faculty who support CBFS
 
Status will expire on January 30th following two full years of inactive status.
