Marine Science Summer Camp Counselor

Number positions available: 1 Male camp counselor
Position Dates: June 4 –  August 9, 2023
$800 biweekly + room and board

Marine Science Camp Counselor is responsible for the supervision and safety of all campers for overnight camps at the Chincoteague Bay Field Station. Primary job duties include: directing and supervising summer campers day and night throughout their stay; planning/executing small and large group activities during free time and evenings; and fostering a fun and welcome environment for campers. Camp Counselors will also live, learn, and teach in the dynamic ecosystems of a barrier island; receive training in Environmental Interpretation and Education; and gain experience creating educational curricula for ages 8-18.

Facilities & Grounds Team Member

Positions available: 1
This is a year round, full time position.
Anticipated start date: March 1, 2023

Chincoteague Bay Field Station is seeking applicants to fill a position in the Facilities and Grounds Department. Applicants should have some experience in Building and Grounds Maintenance and Custodial Practices. Starting pay is $13.00 per hour, 40 hours a week.

There are no health benefits with this position and limited vacation, sick, and holiday pay available.

Seasonal Housekeeper

Positions available: 2
This is a seasonal, full time position.
Position dates: March through November 2023
The start date is flexible and may be as late as May 2023.

Chincoteague Bay Field Station is seeking applicants for Seasonal Housekeeping
positions for our upcoming Season. Experience preferred but willing to train.
Starting pay is $12.00 per hour, 40 hours a week with no additional benefits with
the positions.
