​Take a deep dive into the anatomy and biology of some of the unique organisms that live along our coast.

July 3: Squid Dissection
Learn all about the biology and behavior of squids as you participate in a squid dissection! Educators will teach out all about their anatomy with a focus on their unique adaptations. 

July 31: Shark Dissection
Learn all about the unique behavior and adaptations of some of our most misunderstood ocean organisms! Educators will focus on shark taxonomy, species, behavior, and anatomy as you participate in a spiny dogfish dissection.

Please note: Sharks and squids are preserved in formalin, which does have a strong smell. Those who are sensitive to strong smells should be prepared for this. 

Time: 9:00am to 11:00am
Tuition: $30 per person

What participants need to wear/bring to workshop:

• Comfortable clothing with a light layer - we will be inside the whole time
• Closed toe shoes
