Spring Break Summer Sampler
March 8th - 10th, 2024 and March 15th - 17th, 2024
Looking for a meaningful spring break opportunity that is not only cost effective, but also gets some insight on what you could do here during the summer? Then look no further than the Chincoteague Bay Field Station. Spend 3 days on the Virginia
coast learning with fellow PASSHE students while contributing to an organization on the
forefront of environmental education and conservation. With a mix of field excursions and lab work you will be sure to find something to suit your interests. In addition, you will have the chance to interact and make connections with possible future students from across the PASSHE.

PM - Orientation, trip overview, summer discussion, coastal ecology/barrier island formation

AM - Kayak Paddle, weather permitting
Lunch
PM - Intertidal
Evening- Organism ID and discussion
