OVERNIGHT CAMP DATES & RATES

COVID-19 UPDATE:
We are very optimistic about running Summer Camps in summer 2021 and look forward to seeing your child then. Registration will remain closed until we are able to adjust camp protocols to current local and national COVID-19 restrictions. Please monitor our website and social media channels for future updates. Thank you for your continued support of the Field Station.

In order to keep our campers and staff safe, overnight camp will utilize "household" groups to limit the number of individuals interacting with one another. Campers will stay in a dorm with a maximum of 6 campers and 1 educator. This will be their household for their stay at camp. Campers will do daily activities and eat meals with members of their household.
Because of this, we will have a preset schedule for camp this year. If COVID-19 restrictions ease before camp, we will return to our typical "build your own adventure" style of summer camp. Camp activities include our traditional marine science topics as well as arts, sports, and team building. For examples of classes/activities offered, check out our Camp Activities page!

Testimonials from Parents

My child is already asking to go back next year. She learned so much, made new friends, enjoyed all of the counselors and educators, and had a great first experience away from home. I can’t thank you enough!

My kids have been coming to this camp for over 7 years...they love it! It’s the highlight of their summer!

The camp does a fantastic job of balancing science, exploring the marine environment and having fun.

The camps are just the beginning. If possible, we are thinking counselor and taking college summer courses; maybe be an educator/instructor!

Keep up the great work!  Your programming goes above and beyond and offers kids (and adults) an opportunity to explore and engage in activities they may not have an opportunity to do otherwise, and your counselors/staff clearly love what they are doing which makes the programming even more special!

My son's week at CBFS has been a highlight for him for the last 2 summers! He wants to be a marine biologist and fully intends to continue attending camp, and potentially applying for future internships or counselor positions. Thank you for providing this program!

This was my son's first sleep away camp experience.  Even at age 15, it can be very difficult and he was hesitant to attend.  He was encouraged to go with his friend. We are so glad he went and so is he!  He had a wonderful time, met a lot of great kids that he continues to be in touch with, and he speaks very highly of all of the counselors.  He said all of the counselors and instructors were very knowledgeable and that he learned a lot.  Most of all he had fun and made great memories. Thanks!

Just a top-notch, excellently run program!
