One week at Chincoteague Bay Field Station. Two weeks in Roatan, Honduras.
Course Description:
Coral reefs are unique assemblages of life and one of the most appealing ecosystems in marine science. The unique biology of corals allows high productivity and diversity in an area that should produce very little. The focus of this course is to introduce you to the unique aspects of coral reefs, and to give you a working knowledge of reef species and reef ecology.

Marketable Skills Gained from This Course:
General Description of Field Activities:
Will dive 20 -25 times over two weeks along a variety of coral formations. Scuba certification required.

Chincoteague Bay Field Station Fee:
The Field Station fee includes airfare, shared housing, scuba dives, meals, and other trip fees.
It does not include University tuition. For specific policy on CBFS fees, click HERE.
Field Station fee: Approximately $6,000-7,000 dependent on enrollment
Deposit: $700 at time of registration
Fees are subject to change at the discretion of the board of directors
