Future Marine Scientist Academy
Future Marine Scientist Academy is a program open to high school students with a goal of preparing them for future careers in marine and environmental science through field and classroom based learning experiences and professional development opportunities! Students will get the opportunity to work with various CBFS staff through our marine science courses combined with professional development through resume building, interview practice, and opportunities to network with staff and college professors.
CBFS is happy to have expanded FMSA to Arcadia, Chincoteague, and Nandua High School! Fall 2023 two dates a month, beginning in September will be offered (one Saturday and one Sunday). 20 students will be able to attend each of the dates. Applications are now open! They will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis. Please see the online application for more information. |
