MARINE SCIENCE ADVENTURE April 3-5, 2017 August 28-30, 2017 September 13-15, 2017
Don't have a laboratory in your basement or a boat in your backyard? Don’t worry! Here at the Chincoteague Bay Field Station we understand the challenges parents face when they teach science in the home. Chincoteague Bay Field Station is your resource for bridging the gap between marine science curriculum and student understanding. Our homeschooler workshops are tailored for the budding marine biologist in your home. Workshops provide hands-on observation of marine environments and life forms and time to socialize with other young marine biologists. While all ages are welcome, students must be 9 years or older to attend the research boat trip. See the program schedule below for the full list of activities.
Tuition: $135 per person Commuter Tuition: $105 (Commuter Tuition includes all meals.) Kids 3 years old and younger are free
Prices include all instruction, field trips, transportation to field trip sites, materials, meals and lodging
Students must attend the program with a parent or adult chaperone.
